A quiet moment of planning
A career of depth

I have met people at their hardest moments.

Across my career, I have served a remarkably diverse range of people: medical patients preparing for kidney transplant, families navigating adoption, individuals facing high-stress life transitions, adolescents to older adults seeking improved fitness, and vulnerable populations within child protective services.

This breadth of exposure lets me meet clients with deep empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a nuanced understanding of human behavior. I have held leadership roles as a Medical Social Worker III at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, a Clinical Supervisor and Compliance Supervisor at International Christian Adoptions, and a Senior Worker and Supervisor within San Diego County Children's Protective Services, mentoring clinicians and guiding multidisciplinary teams along the way.

“I struggled with eating disorders throughout my twenties. It was an early, painful lesson in how profoundly nutrition, mindset, and self-worth intertwine.”

My why

Professional, and deeply personal.

For the past five years I have worked closely with patients whose declining health led to the need for a kidney transplant, often the result of years of overlooked habits: poor nutrition, limited movement, and quietly rising A1c and blood pressure. I saw how much of it was preventable.

Later, as a personal fitness trainer, I watched even the most intense workouts and the traditional "eat less, move more" plans fail to yield lasting results. These experiences drive my mission: to help people feel better, get healthier, and change their body composition through compassionate, sustainable change rooted in science, autonomy, and real-life practicality.
